Error says disk quota exceeded (2 posts)

  I'm uploading a webpage from Flash 8 and everytime i try to put it onto my server, it says "disk quota exceeded". Is there anyway to compact my file? I can't get rid of what's already on that webpage, because it's for a school project. Our first project is already on there and we're supposed to upload our second webpage to that same page. Any advice?

  Hi,

  I'm afraid we don't have any suggestions on how to make Flash 8 files smaller, but perhaps another message board reader has an idea.

  (You could possibly make the webpage smaller by compressing it with StuffIt or Zip, but then web browsers wouldn't be able to read it, so that's probably not what you want to do.)

  Otherwise, you should contact the server adminstrator/maintainer and ask if they can increase the space allocated to your account on the server.
