    Hi ..

I've tried searching for this on past posts but no luck....

I am using Fetch 3.03 on OS 9.2 in my graphics department. I have it working on two PC's at the moment that are running NT4 with a FTP service on them, and can transfer no problem. I have introduced an XP PC into the mix and although the Mac will connect to it! A small login box does not appear as with the other shortcuts that I have. There are no error messages, and all trace route, ping and network snoop avenues have been checked.

I am not enraged quite yet, rather slightly perplexed.

    Any Help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure what you mean by "a small login box". Does Fetch connect to the XP machine? Do you get a file list?

    Thanks,

No there is no file list, it also say s that any file path that I put in is invalid. If I am trying to put it in a folder on the route of the drive should it be like this in the path - C:Fetch

I have tried this and it does not work.

When I say login box, there is a small box that appears when I use the existing shortcuts that says;Connected
    user - Edit logged in

    Or something similar to this.

    Do you get me?

But there is no error message reporting it not being connected.

So what am I to think?

Could you post the contents of the Fetch Transcript window after you try to connect? Choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu in Fetch to open that window.

    Thanks,
