When I try to establish a new connection, I receive the "Error on password" message. For the host, I'm using the server address provided by my host; for the user ID,I'm using my ID from the host server; and for the password, I'm using the password designated by my host server. I'm using all lower case letters and no spaces.

Why do I continue to receive the "Error on password" message?
    Thanks, Lynda

A password error can mean a problem with one or more of the pieces of information you mention: the hostname, user id and password. And it's also possible to get that error if there's a problem with the firewall settings in Preferences. Could you post the contents of the Fetch Transcript window after getting the error message? Choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu to reveal the transcript.

    Thank you,
