I'm using Fetch 4.01 under MacOS 10.1. Fetch works fine on its own, but when I click on an ftp:// link in Explorer 5.1, Fetch crashes (if it isn't already running, it starts and then crashes). The same links, when punched into the host dialog manually, work fine.

Aggravating about covers it. :-) I assume this may be some bug in the way IE 5.1 is passing the links to Fetch, since the same links with Fetch 3.03 and IE 5 under MacOS 9.2.1 work fine.

I think this is a bug in Fetch, and I will see to having it fixed for the next release.

    Thanks for the report,

I have the exactly same problem as GomezADDams. Glad to here you are working on it! Any timeframe for 4.0.2?

I keep all my passwords etc in "Web Confidential" and Fetch crashes when I try to run it via Web C or any other program. By it self Fetch work without problems.

    This is from my crash.log:
    Date/Time: 2001-11-29 21:22:43 00
    OS Version: 10.1.1 (Build 5M28)

    Command: Fetch 4.0.1
    PID: 1863

    Exception: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (0x0001)
    Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS (0x0001) at 0xfffff954
