Ever since I upgraded to 4.0.3 from 4.0.1 Fetch gets stuck trying to upload a bin of text files. I deleted all preferences (except bookmarks) when I upgraded because it crashed on launch, but I can't seem to successfully push more than a dozen files at a time.

    Anyone else?

Could you post the contents of the Fetch Transcript window after you get the error? Choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu to open the window.

    Thanks,

In this case, the software doesn't give me an error, it simply hangs on a file and never recovers, which in order to recover from, I have to quit the application and relaunch.

In the meantime, I'm getting around the issue by U/Ling tgz archives and decompressing them from the command line on my Unix server.

That's a good workaround. If you want to look into the problem further you should still be able to choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu when the transfer hangs.

I'd recommend checking the "Use passive mode transfers (PASV)" box in the Firewall section of Preferences in Fetch. Does that help?

    Thanks,
