    I'm using Panther 10.3.

I get a FAT Carbon 1.5 error when trying to use Fetch 4.03, I haven't been able to use it for some time now. Maybe there's something I need to patch or install? MIT hasn't put up an alternate functional FTP client, so I don't know what to do.

You need a new version of the MIT Kerberos Extras for OS X. You can download that file here:

I am also using Panther - I installed the new Kerberos Extra for OSX, but it didn't fix my problem. My Fetch 4.03 will not keep my shortcut data stored. When I choose a stored shortcut, everything is blank. Weirdly, though, when I start to type in the password, Fetch recognizes which shortcut it is and adds it in (doubling the entry and making it fail if I don't pay attention!). The stock shortcuts work but I can't add any. I check the keychain box.

I have done everything from downloading the demo to make sure the app is not corrupt, throwing away the prefs, cache, etc. Can anyone help me solve this problem?

theahardy: Users should not install the MIT Kerberos Extras software unless they are getting the FATCarbon 1.5 error. Most people have no use for that software (and won't get the error, because it's caused by having an old version of the MIT software installed).

Are you using the "Create New Shortcut..." command in the Shortcuts pop-up to create your shortcuts? If so be sure to choose the command after you fill in New Connection window. That command creates a shortcut using the information you've entered, so if the fields are blank the shortcut will be too.

    Thanks,
