FTP has been slow for some time. I had a network consultant check packet sizes and they are very small. I downloaded Cyberduck and tried upload and download of the same files to the same server - transfer was much quicker. Is there an MTU setting somewhere in Fetch? Can you offer any advice? (MTU on my desktop Intel iMac is set to standard and both desktop and server NICs are set to 1GB).

Thanks for reporting this. I'd be interested in more information, to help figure out what is going on. Could you transfer the same large file with both Fetch and Cyberduck and let me know what the times were? It would also be helpful if you sent the contents of the Fetch Transcript to bugs at fetchsoftworks dot com.

Fetch does not set the MTU, so I'm surprised that the packet sizes were any different.
