Hi, since the 5.5 upgrade i seem to be experiencing a similar problem to ross and unable to access certain folders that i could before the upgrade. I've followed the instructions above but that hasn't worked.

Is there a fix planned, I like using fetch, have done for a while, but this is making the software completely useless for me.

I like the floppy, reminds me of when I started using fetch in the mid-90s.
I don't like the ConsoleLogger bug, see my post in the message board 2009-07-09 14:55.

    Hi Shawn,

We're glad you like the floppy icon. I've responded to your message about the ConsoleLogger in the other topic.

    Thanks,

Fetch 5.5.1, which fixes several of the problems reported by users in this topic, is now available.

Please see the Fetch 5.5.1 announcement for more details.

We recommend that all 5.5 users update to 5.5.1.

When I tried to upgrade to 5.5.3 through my current software (which told me the upgrade was available), the download did not finish properly on my computer and I wasn't able to run the .dmg file. It only downloaded 12.8 of the 17.4MB file. It appeared as though the download was successful until I compared these sizes. When I downloaded the .dmg by going to the Fetch website, everything worked as expected. Don't know if there is a problem with where the downloads reside or what, but thought you might want to know, in case other people are experiencing the same thing.

    Hi Luke,

Thanks for letting us know. I have double-checked and our downloads appear to be working correctly, and we have not received other reports of this problem recently, so my guess it was temporary glitch with the server or your network connection. I'm glad downloading the dmg directly from the website worked for you.

    Thanks,
