    Hi Jim,

Do you have any plans on Automator/AppleScript support for Fetch 5.8.x? We rely heavily on Automator/Applescript support for automated upload/download and this is preventing us from migrating to Fetch 5.8.x.

    Thanks.

I do hope to restore AppleScript and Automator support, but I can't say when I will be able to find the time to work on it.

    Thanks,

    Hi Jim,

We are having trouble running new software versions* in High Sierra and cannot install Catalina/Fetch 5.8 until you restore automator/Applescript support.
Please give higher priority to this problem, the usefulness of Automator should not be underestimated and we cannot wait any longer...

    * Autodesk Maya 2020 crash random on High Sierra.

    Thanks

    Hi Guido,

Is running Fetch 5.7.7 on macOS 10.14 Mojave an option?

    Thanks,

    hi Jim,

the first Beta version of Mac os Catalina 10.15 Beta-1 has been available to you since June 3, 2019.
It is unacceptable that Automator and AppleScript could not be implemented in 20 months.
And how about all those people who bought a new mac with Catalina pre-installed?
Would you advise them to find a way to uninstall its operating system and download an outdated operating system?
Fetch has been updated in January 2020 to version 5.8, is it possible that in a year you have not implemented AppleScript?

    Thanks,

    Hi Guido,

I apologize for my slowness. I did expect to have AppleScript support restored by now, but obviously I was not able to do that. I am sorry that this delay has created problems for you and other Fetch users.

    Thank you,

    Jim Matthews
