    Trying to FTP but the system hangs with a time out message. Novell website recommended ACTIVE but it seems to not have any effect. Any suggestions to what might be causing the problem. works with all other FTP sites.

    Could you post the contents of the Fetch Transcript window after trying to connect, both with and without checking the "Use passive mode transfers (PASV)" box in the Firewalls section of Preferences?
