Fetch automatically opening DOZENS of connections to FTP server (2 posts)

  Is there a way to limit the number of times Fetch will connect to a server? I have a server that one of my clients has been connecting to successfully for months, but all of a sudden her computer is automatically connecting to my FTP over and over and over until it clogs up all the available connections and no one else can login.

  I'm not very knowledgeable about this stuff but have been able to troubleshoot everything myself up until now. I figured out my client is using Fetch and hasn't changed any of her settings, but somehow this problem keeps happening after I disable her user and delete all her extra connections, it just keeps connecting.

  Can anyone help?? Thanks so much in advance.

  Hi,

  Is your client using AppleScript or Automator to automate Fetch connections? In normal use Fetch only opens a connection when the user says to.
