Heh! While you are thinking VMS Jim, how about ODS-5 syntax surviving a drag back to Mac?
Currently Sample FIle.jpg when dragged to VMS lists on VMS ODS-5 volumes as
Sample^_File.jpg.
It becomes Sample^^_FIle.jpg on attempted drage back to Mac and is not found. For added gratitude from VMS users, could you parse the block count for an approximate file size?

Thanks for those suggestions as well; I know that ODS-5 is on our to-do list, but I'm not sure when we'll get to it.
Thanks,
Jim Matthews

When I fetch files from a VMS machine it has the version number of the file appended to the name. - "picture.gif;23"
Is there an easy way to remove (or prevent) the semicolon and version number from the file name?
