    Hello.

My Fetch no longer displays the file/folder list, the screen is blank. I am working from my home internet, not an intranet, etc. I tried toggling Passive Mode... turing on and off in Sharing, etc. Didn't work. Help!

    Kind regards,
    Lee

    Hi,

Could you try again, and then choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu and post the entire contents of that window in your reply? That information will help me figure out what is happening.

    Thanks,

    Jim Matthews

    Hi,

    Try these steps:

    1) Choose Preferences... from the Fetch menu
    2) Click on the Miscellaneous tab
    3) Uncheck "Use 'LIST -al' command to reveal hidden files

Then try connecting again -- any luck?

    Thanks,

Thanks again! Unfortunately, that did not fix things. Lee

Thanks for trying that. My conclusion is that the permissions for your account on the server are messed up in such a way that the server will not show you the files in your home folder. To fix that you would need to talk to the server administrator; Fetch can't do anything until the permissions are fixed.

    Thanks,

Thanks. I will look into it. (Actually, I have already sent a query, but it hasn't been answered yet.)
