Fetch not working from Europe (4 posts)

  I just got to France and cannot seem to connect to my clients servers with Fetch, I tried a different ftp too without success either. Can anybody tell me what the problem is, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  Hi,

  You could try connecting to our FTP server using the following information and see if that works or not:

  Hostname: ftp.fetchsoftworks.com
  Username: (leave empty)
  Password: (leave empty)

  If that doesn't work in addition to the other two sites you tried, it sounds like something on the network you're using is blocking FTP connections.

  Are you in a hotel? Unfortunately, some hotels configure their networks to only allow certain kinds of network traffic, such as web browsing or email - which results in an inability to use FTP.

  You could see if there is someone you can talk to about the network and see if you can get it changed, but that might be a long shot.

  Thanks Scott, I just tried your suggestion and it didn't work either. I'm going to call the service provider tomorrow and see what they say.
