Fetch is rejecting my login password for Keychain Access.

Launch Fetch and find that the default most recent server info is not populated
    Select a server from Favorites
    > Password dialog appears
    > On top of that comes the message
Fetch wants to access key "quartz.on-rev.com" in your keychain.
To allow this, enter the "login" keychain password...
I enter the password and get an infinite loop asking for the login password

I open Keychain Access and confirm that the login password works.

    Suggestions welcome!

    Hi,

Do you see the quartz.on-rev.com entry in Keychain Access? Can you view the saved password there?

    Thanks,

    Yes.

I open Keychain Access and confirm that the account is listed and that the password is correct.

    Hi Paul,

I would make a note of the password, and then delete the entry from Keychain Access. Then try to login with Fetch, entering the password and checking the Add to Keychain checkbox. Do you still get the request to unlock the login keychain?

    Thanks,

I logged in successfully to the remote server and then quit Fetch. When I launched Fetch again, the Favorites were correctly populated and all is good again.

So, some sort of caching issue that went away.

Thanks for your attention. Case closed.
