    Version: 5.3.1
    MAC OS: 10.6 and 10.8

Wehn connecting to our Microcsoft 2008 IIS7 FTP server, FETCH established the connection great and begins the Upload with no problem at 350-450kb/s but after about 3 or 4 minutes that speed begins to slowly decline and avor the next 5 minutes goes down to 150kb/s. and hovers there until the transfer is complete only once and a while it will actually drop the connection when it may dip below that speed. But to work around we triied filezilla and it This does not happen with that client it starts the same and covers the whole transfer around 350-400 kb/s. This is behind a firewall and NAT'd as we connect to its external IP address to upload.

    Hi,

I can't think of any reason why the transfer would slow down after 3-4 minutes, unless there was some sort of network throttling going on. I've heard reports of ISPs offering especially fast uploads for the first part of a connection, as a way of making their Speedtest numbers look better, but I'd expect that sort of thing to affect any FTP client (i.e. Filezilla as well as Fetch).

Have you tried Fetch 5.7.3, the latest release?

    Thanks,
