Hi,
I have reported this problem to Apple, and would encourage other Big Sur testers to do the same.
Thanks,
Jim Matthews

I upgraded to MacOS 11.1.
It's almost useless.
I can connect to the server, but I can't see the file name.
It works occasionally, but it's unstable.
What happened.
I want you to release the corresponding version as soon as possible. -

Hi Kazu,
Do you have Little Snitch or any other network security software installed? Big Sur appears to have a bug that causes a conflict between network extensions and Fetch.
Thanks,
Jim Matthews

Hello,
I'm getting erratic directory listings, files and directories not showing, sometimes not at all and sometimes incomplete listing.I thought this was my ISP but they've shown me another view which shows everything I was expecting.
I'm on the latest Fetch 5.8.1 so I'm guessing this is an Apple Silicon Big Sur thing. Unlike the earlier poster I don't have any extra network software installed.

Hi Allan,
If you open System Preferences and click on the Network icon, do you see any software products listed on the left side of the window (along with Wi-Fi, Ethernet, etc.)?
Thanks,
Jim Matthews

Jim,
Surprisingly busy in the network preferences!Wifi - Connected
Thunderbolt Ethernet Slot 0 - Connected: my docking stations
com.intego.barrier - running: Intego anti-virus/security DNS proxy
ContentBarrier - running
Apple USB Ethernet: Not connected
Thunderbolt Bridge: Not connectedGuess I was wrong to say there is no network software running; I had Intego installed on the prevoius Mac pre-Big Sur. I guess that could be causing the interference

Hi Allan,
I suspect that's the case.
Thanks,

Hi Jim,
I have suddenly started having problems for the last week or two as well, having just upgraded a months or so back to Big Sur, and no, I have no other network extensions running outside of WiFi. This happens most especially I should mention with very large files, not the small ones.

Hi,
Could you contact me at https://fetchsoftworks.com/fetch/feedback and send along the contents of the Fetch Transcript window after you see the error?
Thanks!

I was wondering when we might see a script that works with the latest BigSur or the older Catalina operating systems please.
It makes it very difficult when you have 15 different FTP's to send to and the old script worked so well and was a credit to you

Hey Jim,
Just a note to say as far as I can tell as of now the software issue is on the side of some folks using a different client trying to upload. All seems to be OK from my side upon investigation, and if I find differently I will be back in touch. Thanks for your quick response and fine software!
Peace

Hi Andrew,
I still want to restore Fetch's AppleScript support, but I have no progress to report at this time.
Thanks for the kind words,
Jim Matthews

Any progress with this? I can't use Fetch at all right now. What a pity.
