(I saw the question but not the answer from -- David Kadison Member - Fetch defaults to DreamWeaver, not BBedit when editing, Where do I change this? )

Mine will default to bbedit when its a html page but when its php or css it starts up dreamweaver. I would like to stay in bbedit, but can not find a place to change the response. In preferences on the general page I have the default sftp application set for bbedit. What am I missing to have it continue using bbedit instead of dreamweaver.

    Thanks,
    Deb

    Hi Deb,

To have Fetch open .php files in BBEdit, you should:

    1) Select a .php file in Fetch
    2) Click the Get Info button
    3) In the Info window that appears, under Transfer Options, set the "Edit files like this with:" menu to BBEdit

Repeat those steps with a .css file to get CSS files to open in BBEdit as well.

Please let me know if that does not solve the problem.

    Thanks,

    Jim Matthews
