    I've been using Fetch for a while with problems from the get go. I put in everything correctly and apparently on a good day it works...THAT'S IF I constantly have to insert my password over and over and over and over and over again.

    Recently it was working with no problems but now the same damn problems have showed up again. I know my FTP, my login and my password and it just doesn't work.

    Why in the hell would it work for a long time and suddenly it doesn't work at all?

    I've cut, copied and saved the link, used the recent feature and just about everything that you suggested so I could log in. With that being said it seems to me that the problem lays on your side. It was working great one day and BAM, you guys really suck it up big time by keeping me out of my own site.

    To everyone else I'm switching to an FTP server that cares cause after countless times of attempted log ins I've come to the conclusion that Fetch only works sometimes.

    Hi Brian,

    I am sorry to hear that things have worked so poorly, and I appreciate your frustration. That said, there's nothing we do, or even can do, to keep you out of your site. We don't operate an FTP service -- we only provide the FTP software that runs on your Mac. When logins went from working to not working, it wasn't Fetch that changed -- it was something on the server, or on the network between your Mac and the server.

    I would be happy to try and help pinpoint the source of the problem. Please let me know if I can be of assistance.

    I've used Fetch for many, many years without issue and support has always been easily obtained. To slam the app without doing your homework first (is it me, my host or the app) is poor form.

    I am also a long time user, and in the last couple of weeks I have started having trouble with
    aborted uploads of JPG files.

    "PASV
    227 Entering Passive Mode (69,94,108,207,95,202)
    Making data connection to 69.94.108.207 port 24522
    STOR prisims_2.jpeg
    150 Ok to send data.
    451 Failure writing to local file.
    Unsuccessful upload of prisims_2.jpeg as binary data (17,983/17,983 bytes, 0 bytes/sec, 0:00 elapsed) stopped at 10/21/11 4:41 AM (error: 2,-30000)
    ftp_store: 2,-30000 (state == RPUT_CLOSING)
    retry_failed_operation derr = 2, -30000 retry_state = RPUT_SETTING_UP cancel_cur_cmd = 1 force_reconnect = 0 tw->retry_reconnect_count = 0 making_progress = 0, tw->retry_count = 3
    Fetch could not put “prisims_2.jpeg” because the FTP server sent an unexpected response. (Check the Fetch Transcript window for more information.
    Server responded: “Failure writing to local file.”)
    ABOR
    225 No transfer to ABOR."

    Still works with PHP and HTML files... I don't have a clue.

    Hi,

    As I wrote on a different thread, the server is saying "Failure writing to local file". That indicates a problem on the server. It could be that you are out of storage space, or it could indicate some other server failure. I would contact the server administrator and pass along that error message.

    Thanks,
