Hi,
You can check to see if the Mac OS X firewall is on, and turn it off, by going to the Mac OS X System Preferences, clicking the Sharing icon, and clicking the Firewall tab. It will say either "Firewall On" or "Firewall Off." If the firewall is on, click the Stop button to turn it off.
If you firewall isn't on, or turning it off doesn't help, after you try to connect, could you please choose Fetch Transcript from the Window menu, copy the entire contents of the transcript window, and paste them here? We'll take a look and try to figure out what's going on.

Sorry, I replied before you'd posted the Transcript the first time.
The server you're having problems connecting to is pharma.synerdns.com, correct?
I would try going to Fetch Preferences, clicking the General tab, and unchecking "Use passive mode transfers," and see if that helps.

I can't seem to connect to a client FTP. I am using a mac osx - if I'm to turn off the firewall, how do you do that. Anything else. Someone at their end is connecting using the same mac osx with fetch and no problem. Anyone????
