I'm using a G3 400 Powerbook with Fetch 4.0.3 on OSX 10.3.6 and cannot delete remote files. Fetch seems to be crashing whenever I click OK to delete.
I can download and upload no problem. Just seems to be at the OK stage - forgot to input password on login and when I eventually had to click OK at the alert, crashed again.
Have run fsck, repaired permissions, deleted prefs, plist. What else is left to do?
Wierd thing is, like someone else was saying earlier, Fetch was fine until a few days ago.

So you can choose the Delete command from the Remote menu, but Fetch crashes when you click OK in the confirmation alert?

If you create a test account (in the Accounts pane of System Preferences), do you see the problem while logged into that account?

    Thanks,

It seems the problem was nothing to do with Fetch. As the evening progressed almost every app on my computer followed the same pattern. Maybe a corrupt system font or some preference file perhaps. Wiped the hard drive and started again.
Now going through the tedious process of re-installing everything from scratch. Wish me luck!
As an emergency bale out, my brother in law talked me through ftp using Terminal.... Thank God for Fetch!!
