    Hi

    After setting up a new router, I cant put larger files to my FTP using Fetch. The small ones (<10KB) puts fine, but much larger than that wont work. I'm aware there might be a problem at the hosting provider, firewall or something else, but I would like to see if anybody else know this problem...?

    Hi,

    We'd like some more information in order to give you the best advice. There are a variety of things that can cause this problem, although if it started after you installed the new router, the new router is the most likely suspect.

    What kind of router is it?

    Which version of Fetch do you have?

    Thanks,

    Hi

    The router is Draytek Vigor 2910 - this guy: http://www.draytek.co.uk/products/vigor2910.html
    Fetch version is 5.5.
    When I try uploading files it says:
    "Fetch could nok put "file name" because an error has occurred. POSIX error 13."
    And thats it.
    I probably have to change some settings somewhere but I havent got a clue where to look :-)

    Hi Rikke,

    Thanks for the information.

    First, I would update to Fetch 5.5.3 and see if that helps.

    Second, could you please do the following, which will give us more information about what's going on?

    * Quit Fetch, if it's running.
    * Open Fetch again.
    * Connect to your server.
    * Try uploading again.
    * After you receive the error, go to the Window menu, and choose Fetch Transcript.
    * Copy the entire contents of the transcript window, and paste them into a reply to this message.

    Thanks,

    Scott McGuire

    Hi Scott

    Trying various things out, I have found out that Fetch probably has got no problems, the problem only consists between the router and the mac. I'll get back to you if I can't find another solution during the days to come.

    Thanks though for the answers so far!
