Fetch won't run (2 posts)

    We purchased a copy of Fetch on October 17, 2002. On Jan. 28, 2003 (today), we started to get an error message when attempting to run the program that said: "Application Fetch 4.0.2 could not be opened because »Fetch 4.0.2« could not be found." I downloaded off our link to eSellerate again, opened the 4.0.3 version that came down & got the same message.

    What I did notice (but hadn't followed up on)back when we originally bought the copy of Fetch is that the serial # of Fetch in the 'about Fetch' window didn't appear to match the serial # on our invoice. Is this part of the problem.

    The program files are still inside their application folders as normal, but neither will run, either directly or off aliases.

    It sounds like you are running Mac OS 9 -- is that correct? That error indicates that some required system library was not available when Fetch was launched. Has anything changed in your system configuration lately?
