In a communication with OmniEdit support staff, I asked if it would be possible for a person who gains unauthorized access to a private Fetch password would be able to access ALL files on the computer that has the Web site. Here is their answer:
"Anyone with the master FTP password used by Fetch or any other FTP client would have full access to all the web site files."

Does that mean only the WEB SITE files (as they worded their answer), or does that mean all the Web site files AND all the other files on the original computer from which the Web site is being posted?

    Thanks for your help!

It means only the website files, files that have been transfered to the server. The person would not have access to files on your computer.
