Is there a way to define Fetch's method of uploading for different file types???

In other words, say I wanted .txt files to upload in binary format (for some reason). Is it possible to set this up so it always does it, or do I manually have to define the upload type every time I send over text files???

No, there is no way to specify an upload format for specific file types like there is for downloading, sorry.

You can change the default upload format in the Upload pane of the Fetch Prefrences, so that Fetch would always use Binary for all files, instead of Automatic. But if that isn't what you want either, you'll have to change the upload format to Binary each time you want to upload text as binary files.

Could you please describe your situation to us? We might be able to suggest a different solution, and the feedback will be helpful in deciding which features to add to Fetch in the future to help with situations similar to yours.
