After connecting to a certain server, Fetch continues to read in the file listing, and so the file list grows indefinitely. Anybody an idea how I can stop this process?

    Hi,

We'd like some more information in order to help you.

Which version of Fetch are you using?

Is the item count increasing as the file list continues to grow? (In Fetch 5, the item count is in the upper left, just above the file list and below the toolbar; in Fetch 4, the item count is in the lower right, just below the file list.)

If so, what sort of numbers is it reaching?

And do you know about how many items are supposed to be in the folder that you're having problems with?

    Thanks,

    Scott McGuire

    Hi,

I'm using Fetch 5.0.5. There are 90 items in the folder (including files and subfolders, excluding hidden files). After the connection, the item count keeps on increasing, and can reach numbers of to 10000it will continue to rise untill I press the unconnect button).

Here below is the content of the transcript window (I only show part of the files, in order not to make this to long):

Thanks for the transcript. Could you download Fetch 5.1b2 from http://getfetch.com/Fetch_5.1b2.dmg and see if it also has this problem?

Also, it would be useful to know what SFTP server software the server is running, and what version, if you have that information.

    Thanks,
