Do you have Norton Internet Security 2.0 or Personal Firewall 2.0 installed?
Thanks,

Thanks for the quick response. Yes, 2.0-security, and 2.0.2 firewall.
Interference, I guess?
I have uploaded successfully several times since Norton was installed.
Thanks, Michael

The Norton Privacy Control feature interferes with passive mode FTP uploads. The workarounds are:
1) Upgrade to version 3.0 of Norton Internet Security.
2) Uncheck the "Use passive mode transfers (PASV)" box in the Firewall section of Fetch Preferences (but if you do this your connections may fail).
3) Remove the "NortonPrivacyControl" folder from the StartupItems folder of the Library folder of your home directory.
Thanks,
Jim Matthews

Greetings, Running 10.3.7
When I put files to my FTP site, they appear to upload and reside on the ftp site, but won't come up in the browser. The browser continues to search and search but never loads in a page or image. I close Fetch and when I return to view the files at FTP, all the files that were previously uploaded now have a file size of "0". Finally used another program and the upload was successful. Wonder what is going on with Fetch?
Thanks, Michael
