File Upload Fail (2 posts)

I uploaded a compressed folder (containing almost 400MB) to a printer's ftp site - and received a message saying that the file upload was complete. The printer claimed there was nothing there, even though I took a screen snapshot of the file upload complete message and with the compressed folder plainly sitting in their directory.

So I reuploaded the folder successfully, or so I thought. I quit Fetch, then restarted the program and established connection again with the printer's ftp site. I saw that not only was my file name changed, but it was showing zero k data.

What could be the problem here?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

It could be that you're out of space on the server, and that the server is reporting success but not actually saving the file. The fact that the file's name was changed suggest some sort of intervention on the server side.

What version of Fetch are you running?
