I love the new version of Fetch (4.0.3); it now lets me download files within folders from my IBM via the company LAN. Before I had to move files to the main directory.

My problem is that after the files are downloaded, they immediately open. Don't want that. Just want to transfer the files.

I don't see anything in the Fetch preferences indicating that files should be opened when finished. Where will I find such a setting?

    TIA

Advice from dealmac.com/forums let me to discover that unchecking "Use Internet Config" in the General preferences tab works. The files now don't open when downloaded. At least the few that I tried did not open.

Yes, unchecking "Use Internet Config" will keep Fetch from consulting the open-after-downloading setting in Internet Config. With "Use Internet Config" turned off Fetch will instead consult the "Post-processing" list. You can edit that by choosing "Post-processing..." from the Customize menu.

    Thanks,
