files uploaded, but only html showing (2 posts)

    i uploaded my files and it all went fine. but when i try to view my page, it shows up in html. i don't know how to fix it, is it my files? they have SSI in them, but everything is fine - the files end with .shtml and everything - not sure what's going on. if anyone has any ideas, please let me know!!!

    It looks like you edited your HTML in AppleWorks (which is fine), and then saved it as HTML (which, in this case, isn't). That tells AppleWorks to add its own HTML codes to describe exactly what you see in the AppleWorks window -- it's an alternative to typing HTML codes yourself. Since you want to type the HTML codes yourself you should instead Save as Text.
