filling out new connection box (2 posts)

    when i fill out the new connection box with my domain name in the host section it comes back with an error report saying that there is no host by that name. Am I filling in the correct areas? What should go in the user ID and password areas?

    You need to enter the name of the FTP server hosting your website in the Host field. That may be your domain name, but it might not; it's up to your web service provider. For example, my domain (hosted by Pair.com) is fetchsoftworks.com but to upload web pages I connect to delsi.pair.com. I would recommend contacting your web service provider to find out what name you should enter.
