firewall setting behind MS ISA proxy server (2 posts)

I am using Fetch 4.03 behind a Microsoft ISA proxy server in proxy/cache mode. I have tried many configurations of the fiewall setting in Fetch but can't seem to connect through the proxy. When set to not use a proxy, Fetch can connect and put files to external sites, but our downloads are restricted to only go through the proxy server, so I can not get files this way.

As far as I am aware, the ISA proxy does not run SOCKS unless a third party add on is installed.

Is there any way to configure Fetch to work with the ISA proxy server as configured?

My understanding was that the ISA proxy server was "transparent" so that no configuration was necessary in Fetch (in other words that you'd want to set Proxy Type to "None"). What happens when you try to download files with that configuration? Could you post the contents of the Fetch Transcript window after an attempt?

    Thanks,
