Forbidden Error Message, but Individual Files Accessible (2 posts)

I'm trying to use my Fetch FTP directory to show a list of files for download.
I'm getting an error message saying forbidden, but the individual images are accessible.

I can't seem to figure out how to change the FTP settings so that anybody can access this directory and see the list of files, and choose one to view/download/save.

Could you help me change my settings please??
    Thanks

    Hi,

Are you getting the "forbidden" error message when you try to see the list of files in a web browser, or when you try to view them with Fetch?

I'm guessing you're seeing it in your web browser, let me know if that is not correct.

Whether visitors to your website can view lists of files in directories is a web server setting; Fetch cannot change for you. You'll need to contact the people or company who run the web server and ask them to see if it is possible to change that behavior.

Please let us know if you have further questions.

    Thanks,
