    how do i register the product without paying for it? as a university student they claim i get it for free, but if i don't register won't it stop working after the 15 day trial?

    You should apply for a free license at http://fetchsoftworks.com/edapply and enter the serial number you receive by email into your copy of Fetch. That will mark it as licensed.
