ftp connection problem (3 posts)

    How can we check the login and password for ftp connection to my url?
    The error message I am getting is "incorrect login or password".
    My web designer colleague is not having any problem connecting with the login and password that I gave him earlier this year. Now he cannot find the password I gave him.
    We have run out of ideas.

    To check that you need to contact your web service provider -- the company that runs the servers that host your website. They are the ones who can reset the password to your account.
