FTP sever sent an unexpected response (2 posts)

  I am problems uploading new copy, keep getting a error window saying ' Fetch could not put FILE NAME because the FTP server sent an unexpected response. Check the Transcript window for more information. Server responded. "Could not create file."

  Has anyone got any ideas, this is the first time I've encountered a problem with Fetch.

  Hi,

  As the dialog says, Fetch is relaying an error message from the server. As for why the server isn't able to create a file, that is a question to take up with the people who run the server (e.g. your web hosting company, if you're uploading a website).
