FTP to SNAP server not working (2 posts)

    just cant get fetch to attach to a snap server keep getting this error.

    Server file error: Data transfer not implemented for client default data port. Need 'PORT' command first.

    Any ideas on how to fix it, I have seen this on a couple SNAP servers when trying to FTP with fetch, I think that it is a SNAP problem with there implemation of FTP.

    You might try unchecking "Use passive mode transfers (PASV)" in the Firewall section of Preferences. It sounds like the SNAP server does not support passive mode transfers.
