Hi,
Are you sure that you're connecting to port 90 with Filezilla? I don't get any answer when I try to connect to that port.
Thanks,
Jim Matthews

Jim,
You are correct, I put the wrong port number in my message and the login script. It should have been port 990. I have tried to reboot the Mac and power cycle the cable modem and router. Here is the latest Fetch transcript:
Fetch 5.7.7 (5H1795) Intel (Web Store) running on Mac OS X 10.7.5 (11G63) Intel English
StuffIt Engine 0x820, StuffIt SDK Version 10.1.1b1
Partial serial FETCH55001-F5NB-E69Q T
Connecting to animadesigns-shop.com port 990 with TLS/SSL (Mac OS X firewall is limiting connections to specific applications) (12/14/18 5:00 PM)
Connected to 50.97.69.131 port 990 (12/14/18 5:00 PM)
get_reply():con_conn->Getline() returns 3,-9844
An FTP with TLS/SSL connection to “animadesigns-shop.com” could not be opened because the FTP server dropped the connection. (Try again, or contact the server administrator to verify that the server is running.)

Hi,
It looks like the server requires a newer version of TLS than is provided by OS X 10.7. Fetch uses the TLS software built into OS X, while FileZilla has its own TLS implementation, which would explain why FileZilla can connect.
I suspect that you could connect to this server with Fetch on OS X 10.8 or 10.9, but on 10.7 you probably need to use FileZilla.
Thanks,
Jim Matthews

Thanks, Jim.
I'll see if I can find a version of Filezilla that runs on OS X 10.7.5.

Hi Francoise,
I'm afraid I don't understand the problem you are describing. How many seconds does it take for Fetch to open? What version of Fetch are you running, and what version of macOS?
Thanks,
Jim Matthews

I am using a Mac running OS X 10.7.5. I have been attempting to connect to an FTP site for several weeks using Fetch Version 5.7.7 and the TSL/SSL option. The connection keeps timing out. I can connect to the site from another Mac using Filezilla. Could you please help.
