Full Address in Host Name Field (2 posts)

One of the hosting services I use is insisting on "sftp://" at the beginning of the address string. When I enter it in the host name field Fetch is dropping it off so I am unable to connect. I've tested it on filezilla and it works with the full address. I do not want to change ftp clients after 10+ years with Fetch. Is there something I can do to resolve this?

    Hi,

Fetch automatically parses the SFTP URL into its constituent parts (Hostname, Username, Path). That's intentional, and probably has nothing to do with the problem you're having connecting.

After trying to connect could you choose Fetch Transcript from the Window menu and send the contents to https://fetchsoftworks.com/fetch/feedback ? I'll take a look and see what I can figure out.

    Thanks,
