One of my users is running MAC OS X (Tiger) and Fetch. 5.0.4. She can log onto the company ftp site but cannot GET files. The message indicates that she does not have the correct permissions. We have validated that she does.
The user has two computers on her desktop, one of which runs Windows XP, and from it, she can access and download files without issue. She prefers to use her MAC for these functions. The MAC is set up to logon to a Windows 2003 domain. The password access to the domain is different from the password access to the ftp site. We have saved the correct ftp site password in her key chain, but apparently the MAC or Fetch is passing the wrong credential to the ftp server. Again, the user does not experience any problems accessing the same files and performing the same work from the Windows XP machine logged onto the same network with the same account.

She would prefer to use her MAC & fetch, and I would like to make that possible but am stumped. Any ideas?

Could you have the user choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu after she tries to download a file, and post the contents of that window? That will provide clues to what is going on.

    Thanks,
