  I am just trying fetch for the first time. I want to replace a page in my existing website with a edited revision. I have put the revision and when I get that file from the fetch directory and open it from my desktop, it seems to be the revised page. But when I check it via the website it is the old page.

  The first thing to try is the reload or refresh button in your web browser; sometimes a web browser will show you an old page from its cache rather than a new page from the server.

  The next most common cause of this problem is putting the revised page in the wrong folder on the server, or under the wrong name. I could try to figure out if that's the case if you could post the URL of the page, along with the complete contents of the Fetch Transcript window after you upload the file.
