Could it be that the printer expects the images in negative format? Fetch doesn't know anything about the internals of image files, so it couldn't corrupt them in that way even if it wanted to. You can double-check that Automatic format is working correctly by trying Raw Data format instead; that's the specific format you want.

Graphics such as EPS's and JPG's are coming out as negative versions of themselves when FTP'd to a printer. I used automatic format. Any idea what the problem might be?
