HELP! Will not upload edited page (4 posts)

  I have been using Fetch and BBEdit for years. Recently I have been having problems uploading edited web pages. I finally stopped using Fetch 4.0.3 and just downloaded the new Fetch 5.0.3.b1 to see if it was the program. I still can not upload a new page. I have refreshed/reloaded the browser and it now comes up blank! I can drag the html file and use the "PUT" and it shows completed successfully, but then I go back to it and it shows 0 bytes.
  PLEASE HELP!!! and thank you! P.S. Have checked all connections and can upload to my other sites through the servers with no problem. Just can't do it with Fetch!

  Are you usually trying to use the Fetch "Edit" command, or are you just uploading pages with "Put"?

  After you try to upload one of the pages using "Put" and it comes out blank, can you please post the contents of the Transcript window here? To do this, choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu, copy the contents, and post them here.

  I was able to upload directly from BBEdit so my site is now up to date. I was using "PUT" and also dragging like I have always done. It is only recently that it does not work.

  We're glad you found a workaround to get your site up to date. If you have the time to post the transcript of one of your failed put attempts with Fetch 5.0.3b1 so we can look into the problem, we'd appreciate it.
