I have my website up and running smoothly since 1995, using fetch 3 without a flaw, updating files on a weekly basis. I now can not get in, it is rejecting my password. I don't know if there is a connection, but I was notified that my site is down because of an error in my file which I do not recognize... (lib/libsphera.so.1)
Is there a connection where my site is down and my not being able to log into the server?
    HELP!

    Hi Paul,

Yes, most likely your ability to connect to the server and the fact that your site is down are connected. You should contact your hosting provider (the people who run the server that you are trying to connect to) and ask them for help with the problem.

Thanks Scott, since i posted here, I have been able to contact my hosting provider and gave it to another provider, and awaiting a call.

One other question... Is fetch 3 the only version I can use on OS 9.2.2?

    Hi Paul,

You're welcome, I hope your providers can sort things out.

Fetch 4.0.3, will also run on Mac OS 9.2.2. That is the last version that supported Mac OS 9. (All versions of Fetch 5 require Mac OS X.)

Compared to version 3, Fetch 4's new features are an updated interface, folder mirroring, support for editing files on the server using BBEdit or GraphicConverter, Keychain support, server-server transfers, contextual menus, and support for proxy servers.

While we do not sell Fetch 4 directly in our store anymore, you can buy a Fetch 5 license, which is valid for Fetch 4 as well, and then download Fetch 4.0.3 from our downloads page and enter your serial number in Fetch 4.

Please let me know if you have further questions.

    Thanks,

    Scott McGuire
