It could be that the proxy server settings have been corrupted, and Fetch is trying to connect to a non-existent proxy server. Choose "Preferences..." from the Customize menu, click on the Firewall tab and set the Proxy Type to None. Does that help?

I have been trying to download images to different ftps and I get the same Error:"there is no host by that name". The host name is correct and it's even recognized by my computer (looking at the terminal). For some reaon Fetch doesn't recognize the host.
Thanks!
