You certainly should be able to use that hostname, so I'd like to see more information about the error. After you see the error could you run Console (it's in the Utilities folder inside the Applications folder) and post the Fetch-related error messages?
Thanks,

Thanks for your responses, Jim.
My webhost fixed something on their server and I could upload with 4.03. 5.02 continued with the "name too long" message and I simply turfed it. Sorry, can't run your suggestion. I shouldn't have been so hasty.

I'm glad that Fetch 4 is working for you. Please let me know if you decide to try Fetch 5 again and need any help.
Thanks,
Jim Matthews

My web host has allocated my domain name as the host name (ftp.bilingualoptions.com.au). That has worked fine with 4.0.3. Because of the "storage exceeded" problems which I am having with 4.0.3, I thought I'll give 5.0.2 a try. However, I can't open 5.0.2 at all. It says "host name too long". How do I shorten the host name without compromising my domain name? Or can I circumvent the length of host name stipulation?
