How do I upload multiple sites from two computers to one server? (2 posts)

I'm trying to upload a new site, which was built in iWeb '09 on my computer, to a server through FatCow which already has four or five sites running on it. The problem is that all of these other sites were built on another computer (one which happens to be in Brazil right now). I understand that I have to update the index.html, but is there a way that I can do this without destroying the other sites? I tried putting the whole site into a new folder, but it is obviously not happy about that (it tells me that '(t)he page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.'). Any help would be appreciated since I need to have this site up & functional soon! Thanks!

    Hi,

This sounds like a question that you need to talk to FatCow about. They can probably tell you how best to arrange things and upload a new site so everything works. How servers handle multiple sites in the same account is different from server to server, so this isn't something we can give useful advice about.

In theory an iWeb website uploaded inside a new folder should work, as long as you type the correct address in your web browser to access that folder. But if you're sure you had the correct address, then again, why it didn't work is probably something to talk to FatCow about.

    Thanks,
