How to bypass the logon dialog (2 posts)

    I am using applescript to launch Fetch 3.0.3. Fetch comes up with a dialog for "new Connection" showing my default parameters and waiting for me to click OK or cancel. Is there anyway I can launch Fetch from applescript (or appleevent) and not having this dialog popup and waiting for user input ? Assume that I always want to sign on to my default site. Thank you for your help.

    You want to uncheck the "show sign-on dialog at startup" box in the Misc section of Preferences.
