How to unzip ZIP file on the server (after upload) (2 posts)

  Hi,
  I want to extract a .zip file after I uploaded it to the FTP server.
  There is no direct button in the app, so maybe this work via an FTP-command (that I don#T know…)?!

  Hi,

  Unfortunately the FTP protocol standard does not include a command for unzipping files on the server. If it's possible it would have to be via a non-standard command. Do you know what FTP server software is running on the server? If you can find that out I could look up whether it has support for server-side unzipping.
