Two suggestions:
1) Try unchecking the "Use Internet Config" box in the General section of Preferences and checking the "Use passive mode transfers (PASV)" box in the Firewall section of Preferences. That works around a bug in Fetch 4.0.1 on OS X.
2) Download Fetch 4.0.2b1 from http://getfetch4.com/Fetch_4.0.2b1.sit -- the bug is fixed in that test release. The test release will expire May 1, and the official release of 4.0.2 will be available by then.
Thanks,
Jim Matthews

Previously had 4.0.1 working on my ibook with os 9.2 just fine. loaded it on my g4 powerbook running 0S 10.1.4, tried to make sure that all settings are the same, but cannot get to my directories. once, I received an illegal port error message but otherwise "the dog" keeps running and running but nothing appears in the directory....help?
